I liked the prequel to this story - it was romantic and well written. However this sequel is very disorganized and disjointed. It was hard to keep track of all the different characters introduced - like a dumping ground for many, many sequels and storylines to come. It really took away from the central story line. What really made me roll my eyes was this random, modern day sex scene between 2 male characters and 1 female character. It was like the author wrote a very romantic historical romance and then decided to insert this kinky modern day sex scene between 3 fringe characters - the scene was so random and did nothing to contribute to the main storyline to progress the romance of the main characters. There were also some distracting grammar and spelling issues, for example "luscious" was spelled like "lushes" and there was a lot of meaningless cursing and out of character use of the "F" word by male characters who came across as fairly refined in the prequel. The other thing was the author, who claims to be a woman, portrayed the women in the story as jealous, bitter and hateful at every turn. I honestly wondered if this book was written by a guy who doesn't like women. Believe me, the best thing about this story is the hot looking guy on the book cover.Product details

I enjoyed this book as much as the first book of this series, so much so I can't wait to read the next book in this series!!!!!!!
The wording was not as stirring, but the over all premise was nice and interesting. I liked it for what it was.

Very good reading material, I didn't think I would enjoy this book but after getting into it I really enjoyed it very excited about getting onto the next book!
I really enjoyed the story line and the characters in this time travel romance. A beautiful kind woman From the present and a fierce highland warrior from the past .A very touching and sweet story .
3.5 stars. This book was much better than the first. I still feel like we did not get a full story. Yes they are together now, but nothing else seemed resolved. But... I still enjoyed the story and can wait for the next one.
Excellent book a must read and with each word that is read you really are hooked, what an excellent writer! I never want to miss a book in every series and I highly recommend this book and all books by this author! Fantastic book, you will not want to put it down, I know I didn't and I wanted more and I feel that you will also! Great, Great, Book!
